More Work On New Miniature Painting

Finally! I have knuckled down to work on my new miniature painting. This is a 4x6 inch piece done on velum Bristol which I have adhered to two sheets of illustration board to get some thickness. The last two pieces were on experimental surfaces which I was not completely thrilled with so I am hoping I got it right this time! The subject is Mr. Duncan Rabbit who will be staring in the new children's book I am working on "Duncan's Magic Garden"

And it's a bunny! Melody, we have two rabbits - a Norwegian white, and a lop eared white one with brown spots. If you ever want any photo references of them, just let me know!

I love the leaf border. Are they going to be Fall leaves, Mel?
