Newest Miniature- ACEO Painting

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:  when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."  ~Charles Dickens

Seeing purple Crocus flowers and sunny yellow Daffodils, when I was out running with my dog recently inspired this new tiny painting.

The lovely-delicate and much welcome colors of early spring in New England were the  muse behind "Little Mouse and Crocus".

"Spring Mouse and Crocus"
India ink, colored pencil and some white acrylic.
2.5" by 3.5"

This is an original, a little 3.5" x 2.5" ACEO  (Art Cards Editions and Originals).  It was created using India Ink, colored pencil, and some white acrylic painting.

Done on Heavy 100% Cotton, Acid Free Illustration Board (1/8" thick) with high quality India Ink and Prismacolor Pencils. I also add a bit of white Acrylic.

You can see the step by step of the entire painting, here.
